The PDU & Inline Meter Product Selector by Schleifenbauer helps data centres, IT departments and integrators select the right solution for power distribution and energy metering in server racks. Instead of a fixed product portfolio with standard models, the selector presents example PDUs and inline meters that serve as a starting point for a solution fully tailored to your infrastructure.
Every data centre environment is different. Power density, types of IT equipment, redundancy design and monitoring requirements vary per rack. That is why Schleifenbauer follows a build-to-order approach. The products shown in the product selector are not end products, but reference configurations. Based on these examples, each PDU or inline meter is configured free of charge to meet the required specifications.
In the product selector you will find, among others:
• Basic PDUs for reliable power distribution
• Metered PDUs with input-level energy metering
• Monitored PDUs with outlet-level measurement
• Switched and Managed PDUs with remote outlet switching
• Inline meters for retrofitting existing server racks
Each configuration can be adapted to factors such as the number and type of outlets, the required power connection (single-phase or three-phase), power capacity, rack mounting and metering functionality. This results in a solution that fits precisely within the server cabinet or IT rack in which it is deployed.
In addition to PDUs, the product selector also includes inline meters. These make it possible to add up-to-date energy insight to existing racks and PDUs without metering, without replacement or downtime.
The Schleifenbauer product selector is not a webshop, but a tool to quickly arrive at the right solution. After selection, the configuration is technically validated, produced in the Netherlands and delivered quickly, in any required quantity. This way, you do not start with a standard product, but with your infrastructure.
