Schleifenbauer Inline Meter
The ideal meter for obtaining data in an existing power feed
Flexible in size
The Inline Meter from Schleifenbauer is an excellent solution when you need to obtain power and environmental data in an existing power feed.
It shares its technology with other intelligent Schleifenbauer products, making it possible to access the relevant measurement data both locally and remotely.
The Inline Meter can be set up to meet your infrastructure needs. In addition to cable length and desired electric power, the form factor can also be determined. It is also possible to configure an Inline Meter as a ‘half 19 inch’ model, allowing two Inline Meters to be installed side by side in a server cabinet.
Configure your Inline Meter
Determine your desired specifications on appearance, assembly and execution
The Inline Meter comes equipped with the correct connector and a connection cable at the proper length. Moreover, the cable connection is provided at exactly the location you need it. The ultra-flexible cable is specially manufactured for Schleifenbauer and meets LSZH specification. Its oversized diameter results in a lower build-up of heat and lower energy consumption. In addition to a standard connection via a connector, there is also the option of using a terminal connection.
- Length is adjustable
- Choice of connector
- Connector IEC320 C14 & C20 can be supplied with an optional lock
- Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
- Oversized diameter
- Optional terminal connection
- IEC60309 1 phase
- IEC60309 3 phase
- Cable connection
- Terminal connection
The housing is made entirely out of aluminium, due to its excellent thermal properties and low weight. You can determine the length and orientation (horizontal or vertical) yourself. Our aluminium housing can be supplied in various colours and is provided with custom engraving.

Specialised expertise is required in order to correctly install a Inline Meter in a server rack. Schleifenbauer has the in-house know-how and offers mounting options for any type of server cabinet, regardless of the type or manufacturer. This includes the use of mounting brackets or even “toolless” mounting. What is your ideal mounting solution? If a standard mounting solution is not available, we can provide you with a customised alternative!
- Not dependent on server rack manufacturer
- Not dependent on type of server rack
- Toolless mounting option

Residual Current Monitoring
The residual current monitoring meter developed by Schleifenbauer enables you to easily localise leakage flows at the circuit level. Residual current monitoring can be used in a number of European countries to meet statutory safety requirements.
- Class B measurement
(measurement of AC en DC components)
- Single-phase and three-phase application
- Schematic diagram of residual current monitoring.
- Residual Current Sensor
The measurement readings on your Inline Meter provide insight into energy flows, enabling you to manage them more effectively. You can read measurements locally or remotely, or you can also choose an Inline Meter that does not include measurement readings (basic).
Select your configuration:
a. No measurement reading (basic)
b. Local measurement reading (local)
• Current in A
c. Remote measurement reading (remote)
• Current in A
• Power in W en VA
• Energy in kWh
• Voltage in V Powerfactor
Manage Your Inline Meter Remotely
Our web interface is intuitive. A clear overview of all the information and easy settings adjustment.
Your data is straightforward and insightful
Your PDU data is integrated into your environment using open standards. Communication via various protocols such as SNMP (v1, v2c and v3), Modbus and API. Our applications are developed in well-known DCIM platforms such as Schneider InfraStruxure Manager, Sunbird DCIM and iTRACS®.
- Web interface
If you choose remote measurement, the LCD display with LED backlight will provide you with all of the most important information such as measurement status and configuration. The information can be displayed horizontally or vertically, depending on your configuration. If a threshold value you have set is exceeded, this will be indicated on the display with an alert signal.
- Horizontal/vertical display
Your Inline Meter can be fitted with optional external sensors. Schleifenbauer supplies a combined sensor for temperature/humidity. It is also possible to add additional sensors, such as a water leak sensor based on binary input for potential-free contact.
- Temperature measurement
- Humidity measurement
- Dry switch contact
