Schleifenbauer Switched PDU with input metering and switched outlets
This PDU combines reliable input metering with remote outlet switching. The Switched PDU gives data centre managers direct control over connected equipment, while maintaining clear insight into load and energy consumption at rack level.
The Controller Module provides the functionality commonly expected from conventional switched PDUs, featuring embedded software and a web interface for local management, monitoring and remote switching. Integration with external Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems is supported via standard communication protocols. With the Gateway Module, the intelligence of the PDU is centrally hosted within the EnerTree Platform (Data Centre Energy Management – DCEM), a licence-free virtual machine software solution. This enables uniform and scalable management of large switched PDU deployments.
With the Daisy Chain Module, multiple PDUs can be efficiently connected to a single master PDU equipped with a Controller or Gateway Module. This reduces the number of network connections and improves rack security, as the Daisy Chain Module does not include an Ethernet port.
