Schleifenbauer awarded Silver EcoVadis Medal – in the global top 15%
We’ve been awarded a Silver EcoVadis Medal, placing Schleifenbauer among the top 15% of companies worldwide assessed over the past year for sustainability, ethics, labour practices, and procurement.
It’s a recognition we’re proud of – and one that perfectly aligns with our daily commitment to responsible business.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is a globally recognised platform for assessing corporate sustainability. Its scorecard evaluates organisations across four key themes:
• Environment
• Labour & Human Rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable Procurement
The Silver Medal is awarded to companies scoring in the 85th percentile or above. This means Schleifenbauer outperforms 85% of all companies assessed globally in sustainability management – an independent recognition, not a marketing label.
More than a medal: ESG as a foundation
Our Silver Medal is no coincidence. Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) is deeply embedded in Schleifenbauer’s operations. Here are just a few examples:
• Sustainable product design – Our PDUs and Inline Meters help data centres monitor and manage energy usage, leading to lower power consumption and CO₂ savings.
• Built to last – We minimise materials and waste through bi-stable relays, PVC-free PDUs, halogen-free power leads and modular construction.
• Zero-waste production – All Schleifenbauer products are built to order, meaning no overproduction, no unnecessary warehousing, and no stock transport.
• Packaging-free delivery – PDU deliveries in reusable carts and crates, without cardboard or plastic, right to the data floor.
• CO₂ reduction roadmap – We actively monitor our emissions (Scopes 1–3) and have clear reduction targets in place through 2030.
