Schleifenbauer’s new sensors seamlessly expand the capabilities of the PDU 5.0, enabling you to measure temperature, humidity and digital input/output signals directly at rack level. Effortlessly daisy-chained and fully integrated into EnerTree software, they offer professional-grade monitoring and control — without extra software licences or hardware.
ProductsSchleifenbauer PDU
Schleifenbauer’s latest sensor range brings real-time insight and intelligent I/O to the point that matters most — the rack. These plug & play sensors enable you to monitor temperature, humidity and external contacts, and control alarms, locks or signal devices — all directly through the PDU 5.0.
Each PDU 5.0 module features two USB-A ports, with support for up to 16 sensors per port (32 per PDU) via RJ45 daisy-chaining. All data is automatically visualised and stored in EnerTree DCEM software, which is included at no additional cost.
Why choose Schleifenbauer sensors?
• Real-time rack-level data on temperature, humidity and digital I/O
• Direct USB-C sensor integration — no controller or hub required
• Support for potential-free contact signals and relay switching
• Secure screw-locked USB-C connectors and dual-colour status LEDs
• Modular design with fast RJ45 chaining
• Full integration with EnerTree DCEM (live data, alerts, logging, exports)

Starting a Sensor Chain? Don’t Forget the Start Cable
To connect a chain of rack-level sensors to the PDU 5.0, a dedicated start cable is required. This cable ensures a secure connection between the PDU module (via USB-A High Retention) and the first sensor in the chain (via USB-C with screw locking). All subsequent sensors are easily daisy-chained using standard RJ45 cables. Only one start cable is needed per sensor chain. As this cable is not included by default, please make sure to add it separately when ordering your sensors.
Real-World Monitoring with Zero Complexity
All Schleifenbauer sensors integrate directly with our free EnerTree DCEM platform, enabling live dashboards, notifications, historical data, compliance reporting and external exports via SNMP, Modbus, API or dry contacts.
Smart, scalable and purpose-built for data centres. This is Schleifenbauer sensor technology.
