Cable / Cable Entry
Your PDU comes equipped with the correct connector and a connection cable at the proper length. Moreover, the cable connection is provided at exactly the location you need it. The ultra-flexible cable is specially manufactured for Schleifenbauer and meets LSZH specification. Its oversized diameter results in a lower build-up of heat and lower energy consumption. In addition to a standard connection via a connector, there is also the option of using a terminal connection.

Fuses
A data centre without the highest possible security is unthinkable nowadays. In certain situations the use of fuses is even required by law. In YourPDU® you apply fuses depending on your requirements and infrastructure. This guarantees continuity and reduces the risk of power outages.
Specifications:
Fuses
- Free choice of type of fuse, among others:
- Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB)
- Thermal breaker
- Fuse holder (glass/ceramic/cartridges)
Want to read more about fuses?
We have extensive information, including a white paper, on the application of fuses in combination with our rack PDUs.
Options

Surge protection
Protect your availability and the TIER classification of your data centre with overvoltage protection. Schleifenbauer uses the highest quality level of surge protection (type 3) by integrating the SPD module into the rack PDU. In short, as close as possible to the connected critical end devices, for the highest level of protection.
Specifications:
Surge Protection
- Protects PDUs against overvoltage
- Reduces the risk of loss of availability
- Hot swappable replacable
- Replaceable by data centre engineer

Mounting
Specialised expertise is required in order to correctly install a PDU in a server rack. Schleifenbauer has the in-house know-how and offers mounting options for any type of server cabinet, regardless of the type or manufacturer. This includes the use of mounting brackets or even “toolless” mounting. What is your ideal mounting solution? If a standard mounting solution is not available, we can provide you with a customised alternative!
Specifications:
- Not dependent on server rack manufacturer
- Not dependent on type of server rack
- Toolless mounting option

Residual Current Monitoring
The residual current monitoring meter developed by Schleifenbauer enables you to easily localise leakage flows at the circuit level. Residual current monitoring can be used in a number of European countries to meet statutory safety requirements.
Specificaties:
- Class B measurement
(measurement of AC en DC components) - Auto-test
- Single-phase and three-phase application

Measurement
ou can provide your PDU with measurement (intelligence), this can be arranged at different levels: per phase, per group or per outlet (and can possibly be combined with switching). Metering in your PDU provides you with insight into consumption, which can be necessary for monitoring the infrastructure, passing on consumption to customers (in the event of co-location) and balancing consumption on an A/B feed (so that redundancy remains guaranteed in the event of a power failure).
Depending on the use, these measurements can be applied at 3 levels:
- Per phase (input metering)
- Per group (branch metering)
- Per outlet (outlet metering)
For more detailed information about metering, click here hier

Specifications:
Input metering (meting per phase)
Measurements are performed at phase level.
Branch metering (meting per group)
Branch metering is usually applied to 32A PDUs that are fused in groups of 16A. With this, insight is gained at branch level and at phase level.
Outlet metering (meting per outlet)
Each outlet is measured separately, so that the consumption for each connected device is clear. This provides the most detailed insight into the PDU's consumption.
Monitor and manage your PDU remotely
The data can be read out via the display on the PDU, remotely via our web interface or within your own DCIM platform.
Via the Schleifenbauer Webinterface
The Webinter interface is the online environment for monitoring and managing your Schleifenbauer PDUs. Our Webinter interface is intuitive, all information is clearly displayed and settings are easy to change.
Via your own familiar DCIM platform and dashboard
With open standards, your PDU data is integrated in your own environment. Communication via various protocols such as SNMP (v1, v2c and v3), Modbus and API. Our applications are realised in well-known DCIM platforms such as Schneider InfraStruxure Manager, Sunbird DCIM and iTRACS®.

display
If you choose remote measurement, the LCD display with LED backlight will provide you with all of the most important information such as measurement status and configuration. The information can be displayed horizontally or vertically, depending on your configuration. If a threshold value you have set is exceeded, this will be indicated on the display with an alert signal.
Specifications:
- LCD-backlight
- Horizontal/vertical display

- Total PDU
- Groups
- Individual outputs
- Individual outputs can be switched remotely; bi-stable relays are used for this.
