Schleifenbauer Products BV Announces New Management!
Today, Schleifenbauer Products BV is pleased to share an important change within the company. Following a period of intensive collaboration and reform under the leadership of our CEO Jan de Haan, a new phase is now beginning. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Jan de Haan as CEO and Alain Schuermans – co-founder, current board member, and shareholder – for their tremendous dedication and commitment over the past years.

Jan de Haan has played a pivotal role in the reform and modernisation of Schleifenbauer. Under his leadership, the company has taken significant steps in professionalising internal processes, strengthening our market position, and expanding our product portfolio. His vision and leadership have had a lasting impact on the company, laying the foundation for a successful future. Jan reflects on this successful period: “It has been an honour to lead Schleifenbauer through this transition and help build a solid foundation. I am confident that the new management team will continue on the path we have set, and I have every confidence in the company’s bright future.”
Alain Schuermans, co-founder of Schleifenbauer, has been one of the driving forces behind our success. He laid the technical foundation of our company by leading the development of our high-quality PDUs. With his invaluable expertise and dedication, he has not only shaped our current product line but also developed the new PDU 5.0, which will be released in Q2 2025. Alain reflects on his journey: “Schleifenbauer has grown into a renowned player in the world of intelligent power distribution. It has been an incredible experience to contribute to this. While I am stepping down from the board, I will, of course, remain closely involved and look forward to the next innovations we will achieve as a company.”
Although Jan and Alain are stepping back from day-to-day management, they will remain involved in the background. Their experience and insights will continue to be of great value to Schleifenbauer.
Effective from 1st February 2025, day-to-day management will be taken over by a new management team, consisting of:
Jos Janssen as Sales Director. Jos, currently Head of Sales & Marketing, has always had a strong focus on our customers and brings that experience to his new role. “I am looking forward to working with the team to better serve Schleifenbauer’s customers and further seize growth opportunities,” says Jos.
Edward Goudsmits as Operations Director. Edward, currently Head of Operations and Supply Chain, has made significant contributions to the professionalisation of the production process and has focused heavily on creating a reliable and flexible supply chain. Edward shares: “Schleifenbauer is a wonderful company, and I am very excited to take the next step with the team. We will continue to innovate and optimise our processes to ensure the high quality and reliability our customers expect from us.”
We are confident and excited about this new phase for Schleifenbauer. With Jos and Edward at the helm, we believe our company will continue to grow and serve our customers even better.
