This PDU provides real-time energy insight and monitoring at rack and outlet level. Thanks to the modular communication concept, the solution scales from conventional standalone use to centralised management of up to 10,000 PDUs.

The Controller Module delivers the functionality data centre managers are familiar with from existing monitored PDUs, featuring embedded software and a web interface for local management and integration with external Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems. The Gateway Module introduces a new architecture in which the intelligence of the PDU is centrally hosted within the EnerTree Platform (Data Centre Energy Management – DCEM), a licence-free virtual machine software solution. This enables uniform, scalable and future-ready energy management across large PDU deployments.

With the Daisy Chain Module, multiple PDUs can be efficiently connected to a single master PDU equipped with a Controller or Gateway Module. This reduces the number of network connections and improves rack security, as the Daisy Chain Module does not include an Ethernet port.
