  Perf-IT was developed for controlling the infrastructure of data centres. The product includes the following functions:
  • Process control: measurement of temperature, output, power and other parameters per rack and monitoring the additional equipment in the data centre, such as CRACs, Chillers, UPS, NSA and fire-alarm systems. The measurements take place on-line in real time;
  • Financial control: the calculation and possibly charging per kWh or KJ. We can generate the invoices automatically or deliver these data to a financial package.
  • Environmental control: proper use of the application results in a reduction in power consumption (thus CO2 reduction) and avoids an imbalance between A and B feeds and overloading, through which malfunctions can be prevented.
Besides all kinds of additional options, the package also has a real-time performance dashboard, which can display the most important KPIs that have been defined by the GreenGrid, for example. Perf-IT is based on an open industrial standard package on which we have made a data centre library. Worldwide, more than 1,000,000 licenses are operational for this standard package. Examples of applications are: total building management at Schiphol Airport, monitoring and controlling all the Disney attraction parks, building management at the Pentagon, the management and monitoring of the entire Russian oil pipeline network, visualisation of the London Metro. Perf-IT can be supplied in the form of a fixed-price project (product + all the appurtenant services, up to and including commissioning and aftercare) or as a SAAS solution.
