Metering in the infrastructure.

Metering in the boxes was discussed in detail in the previous tab. An alternative to metering in the box is metering the current closer to the source. Here we distinguish between

• Metering in the junction boxes of busbar trunking systems
• Metering in the distribution board

Schleifenbauer offers neither of these solutions to the end user. They are sold only to the businesses who install our equipment. We supply the semimanufactured products which the installer or control panel builder assembles into an end product. The principle, however, is the same as for in-rack devices: there are meters, and via a data bus they are connected to the gateway where all readings are distributed over an IP network.
