We strive for simplicity because we are of the opinion that this can speed up acceptance of power metering and we see power metering as essential to achieving savings.

The simplicity of Schleifenbauer PDUs can be seen in the fact that:

  • the PDU is made according to the wishes of the client. The client therefore does not have to adapt to the limitations of the (standard) product
  • the PDU can be deployed straight out of the box, with no complex configurations
  • the PDU is connected to the data bus by means of a simple daisy-chain connection. Pulling a cable to a network switch is therefore not necessary
  • all software needed for processing the data is based on OPEN SOURCE technologies, so that everyone can always find a suitable connection
